dc.description.abstract The security challenges posed by pastoralist conflicts in the Greater Horn of Africa currently present one of the leading causes of instability. These security threats, often deeply intertwined with the proliferation of small arms, generally lead to incessant insecurity and instability. In order to foster an environment that guarantees peace and security, the regional states are confronted with the urgent need to develop a degree of cooperation in order to move towards stability. en_US
