Abstract: Conceptual frameworks have previously been used to give a structure to research that essentially simplifies thinking and clarifies issues, while at the same time providing a common reference point. Agrotourism is fast emerging as a key player in the activation of rural economies. An understanding of the interplay between variables that may help sustain agrotourism no doubt provides an avenue through which the practice can be exploited. The aim of this paper is to develop a conceptual model that can explain the interrelationship between heritage dimensions and agrotourism. It envisages that such a model can provide the basis upon which researchers can investigate ways of exploiting the abundant heritage dimensions in Nandi County.
